Sri Lanka, June 24 -- Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti said in Parliament yesterday that the Government fulfills its people's aspirations by safeguarding the rule of law through transparent, impartial governance, and the protection of civil liberties.

"We will always uphold the mandate given to the Government by the people. By establishing the rule of law, the guilty are punished accordingly. The law of the country is being implemented today," Minister Handunnetti said.
