Parents should not discuss the outcome of finished exams with their children - Prof. Chandradasa
Sri Lanka, Aug. 11 -- Consultant Adolescent Psychiatric Prof. Miyuru Chandradasa urged parents to strengthen the young minds of their children who sat for the Grade 5 Scholarship examination last Sunday, because discussing, analysing or predicting the already finished examination could cause depression in the children's minds.
He said, parents can give many kinds of valuable gifts to their children after examinations, to make them happy. Prof. Chandradasa said parents should not discourage children for not obtaining sufficient results at examinations, as it also affects their mental situation.
