Sri Lanka, Aug. 17 -- A stock of vehicle spare parts and lubricants worth over Rs. 5 million has been seized during a raid conducted by the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA) at a shop located in the School Lane area along the Kadawatha - Ganemulla Road, for allegedly selling vehicle spare parts and lubricants that did not meet the required standards.

The raid was carried out over several offences, including the sale and storage of lubricants and vehicle spare parts in violation of Orders No. 85 and 88 of the Consumer Affairs Authority, as well as failing to display prices.
