Sri Lanka, Aug. 25 -- A stock of nearly 8,500 bottled drinking water bottles that had been prepared to be released to the market using a fake Sri Lanka Standards logo (SLS Mark) were uncovered by Officers from the Competition Promotion Division of the Consumer Affairs Authority during a special raid in the Avissawella area.South Asians & Diaspora

Initial investigations revealed that the water was manufactured at a production facility in Amitirigala in the Ruwanwella area, and stored in a warehouse in the Avissawella area.
