Over 1,000 Family Health Officers recruited
Sri Lanka, Oct. 5 -- A ceremony to award appointment letters to 1,056 newly trained Family Health Officers was held yesterday (4) at Temple Trees, presided over by Health and Mass Media Minister Dr. Nalinda Jayatissa.
Having completed a comprehensive one-and-a-half-year training programme, the newly appointed officers will be deployed to hospitals and healthcare institutions managed by provincial councils and the line ministry across the country.
