Srilanka, Sept. 12 -- Opposition parties in Parliament strongly opposed the government's attempt to extend the term of the Select Committee of Parliament (PSC) to look into and report to Parliament on the matter of selecting the Electoral System under which the Provincial Council Elections should be held and submit its proposals and recommendations.Campaigns & Elections
