Sri Lanka, March 5 -- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa visited the Iranian Embassy in Colombo yesterday (04) afternoon to meet with the Iranian Ambassador. During the meeting, he expressed his deep condolences for the lives lost due to the ongoing military conflicts affecting the Middle East, including Iran, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Kuwait.

Mr. Premadasa also conveyed his hopes and prayers for an end to these hostilities and for the establishment of lasting peace across the region.
