Sri Lanka, Feb. 21 -- Public Security and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananda Wijepala made a revelation in Parliament yesterday (20) that one of the two gunmen involved in the recent killing of a lawyer and his wife at Akuregoda, Thalangama, and a person who provided them transportation have been identified.

The Minister said that necessary steps are being taken by the Police to arrest the identified suspects.

Commenting on the ongoing investigation, the Minister stated that the vehicle used in the crime was found torched and destroyed in the Baddegama area. He said that another vehicle used to deliver firearms has been recovered in Kottawa.
