Sri Lanka, Nov. 6 -- The National System Operator (Pvt) Limited yesterday said that there is no need to have a electricity price revision within the course of this year.

During the public consultation conducted by the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka to obtain public views on electricity tariff revision, the company emphasised that it would not request any increase in electricity tariff from October to December this year.Sri Lanka travel

The company said this decision has been taken after taking into consideration the prevailing reservoir storage levels and forecast above normal rainfall under the prevailing El-Nino condition.
