Sri Lanka, June 26 -- Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) Transformation Committee Chairman Eran Wickramaratne said the proposed new SLC constitution is expected to be forwarded to the Legal Draftsman's Department and the Attorney General's Department before being presented to Parliament, although no definite timeline can be given due to the legislative process.

Wickramaratne said the draft constitution remains subject to further review and approval before it can be enacted. He added that former ICC Head of Legal David Becker has been engaged to provide international expertise and ensure that the proposed constitution complies with ICC governance standards.
