Sri Lanka, July 23 -- Government has not taken any final decision yet regarding the re-implementation of the Light Rail Train (LRT) project cancelled by the Mahinda-Gotabaya Rajapaksa Government, which was to be implemented with a loan from the Japanese Government, Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development Bimal Ratnayake stated in Parliament.

He said that the LRT project that was to be implemented in Sri Lanka under the Japanese Government's loan assistance programme was stopped during the previous Government's term as it was determined that it was not suitable for Colombo city.
