Sri Lanka, May 4 -- A new pilot project introducing online seat reservations for long-distance bus travel has been launched for passengers using long-distance bus services.
Transport and Highways Minister Bimal Rathnayake said the initiative is aimed at improving convenience for commuters, who currently have to physically visit bus stands to reserve seats for long-distance journeys.
