New Bill to govern Sri Lanka Cricket
Sri Lanka, Oct. 1 -- A new Bill proposing a comprehensive overhaul of the governance structure of Sri Lanka Cricket is expected to be presented to Parliament shortly, following its publication in the Government Gazette.
Under the proposed legislation, the Sri Lanka Cricket Board of Directors will consist of 14 members, including seven independent directors and seven elected directors.
The seven independent directors will comprise professionals from a range of fields.
