Sri Lanka, July 29 -- The new Anti-Corruption (Amendment) Bill is set to be presented in Parliament for consideration, approval and for passing. The Government has focused its attention on amending the Anti-Corruption Act. The relevant Bill has been submitted by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake. The new Anti-Corruption Amendment Bill was published in the Extraordinary Gazette on Monday (27).Accordingly, it has been proposed to amend the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2023, and several new amendments to the existing law have been introduced to it.
