Sri Lanka, July 29 -- Negombo Magistrate Shilani Perera yesterday (28) ordered the Chief Jailor, who was on duty at the Negombo Prison at the time of the incident, to appear before court on the 30th to give evidence regarding the killing of 10 officers and 22 inmates in the clash that occurred inside the prison. Additionally, the magistrate ordered a detailed report to be submitted to the court concerning the 89 prison police officers who arrived at the Negombo Prison from Welikada, as well as a report regarding those receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital and the Negombo Hospital.
