Sri Lanka, May 27 -- The National Building Research Organisation has issued a landslide early warning for several areas across the Kalutara, Ratnapura, Kegalle and Nuwara Eliya districts, effective from 4.00 p.m. today (27) until 4.00 p.m. tomorrow (28).

According to the NBRO's Landslide Early Warning Centre, a Level 2 Amber alert has been issued for Bulathsinhala in the Kalutara District and Ayagama, Kuruwita, Ratnapura and Eheliyagoda in the Ratnapura District due to the risk of landslides, slope failures and rock falls.
