Sri Lanka, Feb. 20 -- It has been revealed that Avant Guard Maritime Services has failed to pay the Sri Lanka Navy Rs.782 million due for the period from December 1, 2014, to November 13, 2015, the Defence Ministry said in a statement yesterday.Sri Lanka Travel Guide
It said the Navy's Onboard Security Team Security (OBST) operations have contributed US$ 598,250 to the Consolidated Fund in less than four months, from October 3, 2025, to February 8, 2026. The previous RALL-AGMS joint venture had earned US$ 14.12 million over a period of nearly four years from September 2021 to July 2025, the Defence Ministry said.
