Sri Lanka, July 8 -- In a major stride towards eliminating mosquito breeding grounds, the Sri Lanka Navy rendered assistance to a dengue prevention campaign at the University of Moratuwa yesterday (7).

This initiative aligns with the "Towards a Dengue-Free Colombo" national programme, jointly implemented by the 'Clean Sri Lanka' Secretariat, the National Dengue Control Unit, and the Police Environmental Protection Division.

Actively contributing to this islandwide week of action running from July 5 to 12, a dedicated contingent of fifty-nine (59) naval personnel joined hands with this timely endeavour.
