Sri Lanka, March 7 -- Inspector General of Police (IGP) Priyantha Weerasuriya has instructed all police stations to monitor drone operations and related businesses to prevent the gathering of sensitive national security information and potential terrorist threats.
Sri Lanka Police observed that taking proactive measures is a timely necessity to prevent Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) from being used for activities that jeopardise national security.
