Sri Lanka, June 19 -- The National Youth Corps (NYC) and the Sri Lanka Archery Association (SLAA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Wednesday (17) to promote archery among Sri Lankan youth and developing athletes capable of competing at international level.

Under the agreement, formal archery training programmes, coach development workshops and talent identification initiatives will be conducted through the National Youth Corps' island-wide network of training centres. The Sri Lanka Archery Association has agreed to provide the training, workshops and technical support free of charge on a voluntary basis.
