Sri Lanka, June 29 -- The Sri Lanka Scout Association National Scout Poson Zone on Sir Chittampalam A. Gardiner Mawatha (from the Lake House Roundabout to the Police Headquarters Roundabout) in Colombo was opened yesterday by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.

The event runs from 6:30 pm to 1:00 am, featuring bhakthi gee, light patterns, dansal, lanterns, and a replica of Mihintale.

Organised for the first time under the theme 'Poson to Colombo too', the event will be carried out with the co-ordination of the Presidential Secretariat and contribution of the State and private sectors, along with the Associated Newspapers of Ceylon Limited (Lake House) as the print media partner.
