Sri Lanka, Sept. 16 -- SLPP MP Namal Rajapaksa, who has been named as a suspect in the Airbus aircraft procurement case, was brought before the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court today(16).

Prison officials produced Rajapaksa before the court in compliance with a previous court order.

The case is scheduled to be taken up before Colombo Fort Magistrate Pasan Amarasena.

Security has been strengthened around the Colombo Fort Magistrate's Court premises.
