SriLanka, Sept. 23 -- Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna National Organiser and Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa, who was arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption, has been further remanded until September 30.

The order was issued by the Colombo Magistrate's Court in connection with the ongoing investigation into allegations of bribery linked to the procurement of Airbus aircraft for SriLankan Airlines.

Rajapaksa was arrested by CIABOC on September 4 and has remained in remand custody since then.
