SriLanka, Sept. 4 -- SLPP National Organiser and MP Namal Rajapaksa has been arrested by the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption following a statement recorded over the controversial Airbus deal.Executive Branch MP Rajapaksa appeared before the Bribery Commission this morning (04) after being summoned in writing to assist an ongoing investigation into the deal. He remained at the Commission for more than five hours while providing his statement. The investigation concerns allegations of bribery linked to plans for purchasing wide-body aircraft for SriLankan Airlines.
