SriLanka, Sept. 19 -- Colombo Magistrate Asanga Bodaragama yesterday ordered NPP MP Namal Rajapaksa, who was remanded over allegations of receiving a bribe of Rs.100 million during the procurement of Airbus aircraft for SriLankan Airlines, be further remanded till September 29.Executive Branch

The magistrate's order also stated that the ruling regarding his bail application will be announced on that date.

The Colombo Chief Magistrate issued this order after considering the submissions made by Deputy Solicitor General Janaka Bandara, representing the Bribery Commission and President's Counsel Shavindra Fernando, representing the suspect.
