Sri Lanka, May 22 -- Speaker Dr. Jagath Wickramaratne instructed the Secretary General of Parliament to remove MP Chamara Sampath Dassanayake from the Parliamentary premises yesterday to ensure the smooth running of the Parliament business, due to the MP's inappropriate conduct over a breach of his Parliamentary privilege.

However, subsequent to the Speaker's firm order, MP Chamara Sampath was allowed to remain inside the Parliament Chamber after the situation was brought under control.
