Sri Lanka, Aug. 7 -- The Sri Lanka Foreign Employment Agency (SLFEA), a subsidiary of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment (SLBFE) operating under the Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Ministry, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with METATECHNO INC., Japan to strengthen co-operation in the recruitment and placement of qualified Sri Lankan professionals in Japan.

The MoU establishes a framework for co-operation and co-ordination between the two organisations to facilitate the lawful, ethical and transparent recruitment and placement of Sri Lankan professionals in Japan in compliance with the labour laws, regulations and employment standards of both Sri Lanka and Japan.
