Sri Lanka, Oct. 1 -- Foreign Minister Vijitha Herath who is in New York to participate in the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA 81) yesterday held a series of bilateral meetings and discussions with foreign ministers and senior United Nations officials.
The Minister had a cordial meeting with Nepal's Foreign Affairs Minister Shisir Khanal, during the High-Level Week of UNGA81.
The discussion focused on advancing shared priorities and creating new avenues for closer cooperation between Sri Lanka and Nepal, including joint efforts to address shared climate challenges.
