Sri Lanka, March 6 -- Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism Minister Vijitha Herath stated that he has held discussions with several foreign ministers, including those of Iran and Israel, regarding the safety of Sri Lankan citizens working abroad and the rapidly evolving conflict situation in the Middle East. On his official X account (Twitter), he said that during his conversation with the Foreign Minister of Israel, discussions focused on the well-being of more than 29,000 Sri Lankans currently in Israel.
