Srilanka, Aug. 1 -- A family-produced commemorative issue marking the first death anniversary of Major Ramani Lalithangani Bandara (retd), a founding officer of the Sri Lanka Army Women's Corps, journalist, author, businesswoman and humanitarian will be released today (1). The 36-page publication traces her military career, later work as a Lake House journalist and author, and her role as founding President of the Sri Lanka Ex-Army Women's Corps Association (SLEAWA).
