Sri Lanka, March 28 -- The Department of Meteorology says showers or thundershowers may occur at a few places in Rathnapura, Kaluthara, Galle and Matara districts during the evening or night.Weather

According to the department, mainly dry weather will prevail over most other parts of the island.

Misty conditions can also be expected at some places in the Central and Sabaragamuwa provinces and in Galle and Matara districts during the early hours of the morning.

The department requested the general public to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by temporary localized strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
