Sri Lanka, July 21 -- Kaduwela Magistrate Aruna Indrajith Buddhadasa ordered the Western Province South Special Investigation Unit to produce in Court, the 9mm pistol suspected to have been used in the shooting of former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chandana Wickramaratne, along with the used bullet casings and all other related Case productions, and subsequently send them to the Government Analyst to submit a Report to the Court.

The Magistrate issued this order when the Case previously filed by the Malabe Police regarding the fatal shooting of former IGP Chandana Wickramaratne, was presented by the Western Province South Special Investigation Unit through a Motion.
