Sri Lanka, April 8 -- The Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children (LRH) has a total of 2,712 children on its surgical waiting list, Health Deputy Minister Dr. Hansaka Wijemuni told Parliament.

He disclosed this in Parliament yesterday (7) in response to a question that was raised by Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Matale District MP Rohini Wijerathne.
