Sri Lanka, April 20 -- The Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL) said that the National Development Bank (NDB) in consultation with the CBSL is finalising arrangements to engage a leading international firm with experts from overseas to conduct a comprehensive forensic audit into an internal fraud in the NDB which was uncovered recently.Geographic Reference

The CBSL meanwhile stressed that there is no evidence of any other regulated financial institution suffering any loss arising from the incident at the NDB.

The CBSL requested the public not to be misled by any statements to the contrary made in various forums.
