Held at Galle Face Green, the festival transformed Colombo's iconic waterfront into a spectacular display of colour, creativity and culture, bringing together local and international kite flyers. The 2026 edition featured international participation from around 30 countries, with approximately 80 international kite flyers and more than 1,000 local kite flyers.
