Sri Lanka, June 24 -- The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) officially handed over the 'Liya Shakthi' Women's Sales Centre in Ratmalana on June 18, marking an important milestone in promoting the economic empowerment of self-employed women in Sri Lanka.

The event was attended by Jeon Yunsoo, Deputy Country Director of the KOICA Sri Lanka Office, Sajeewani Perera, Director of the Women's Bureau of Sri Lanka, Dilrukshi Walpola, Divisional Secretary of the Divisional Secretariat Ratmalana, representatives of partner institutions, and beneficiary women of the Sales Centre.
