Sri Lanka, Oct. 23 -- Seven medical academics from Kelaniya University have been named in the updated global database of the World's Top 2% Scientists, compiled by Stanford University, USA, and published by Elsevier Data Repository.

This prestigious global ranking released on October 7 evaluates scientific impact using standardised Scopus citation indicators, including citation performance, h-index metrics, co-authorship adjustments, and composite research scores across diverse scientific fields.
