Sri Lanka, Aug. 19 -- Former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, was arrested by investigating officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) for two alleged offences.

In the first, he is accused of corruption by conspiring to recruit six employees exceeding the approved cadre of the Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation and unlawfully attaching them to his staff. His staff, as the then Mass Media Minister was already complete, and caused a loss of Rs. 14,325,422.83 to the Corporation.Maldives News
