Sri Lanka, July 28 -- Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala has decided to grant permission to all 45 Kavadi dance troupes that performed in last year's Esala Perahera of the Devinuwara Uthpalawanna Sri Vishnu Maha Devalaya to perform in this year's procession as well. The decision was reached during a special discussion that was held yesterday (27) afternoon at the Matara District Secretariat with the participation of Minister Wijepala, IGP Priyantha Weerasuriya, Public Security Ministry Secretary Ravi Seneviratne, Matara District Secretary Chandana Thilakaratne and other relevant senior officials.
