Sri Lanka, Oct. 7 -- The 'Protection of the State from Terrorism Act' (PSTA) drafted to repeal the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act (PTA) No. 48 of 1979 and to make provisions for matters connected therewith was presented to the Parliament for its first reading by Justice and National Integration Minister Harshana Nanayakkara. The Justice Minister presented the Bill to the House when Parliament convened yesterday (6).
