Sri Lanka, July 3 -- Sri Lanka's national tea sale average declined in June 2026, with the overall average price falling by Rs. 31.07 from the previous month, according to statistics released by the Sri Lanka Tea Board.

The national sale average for June stood at Rs. 1,153.49 per kilogram (USD 3.45), compared with Rs. 1,184.56 (USD 3.65) recorded in May 2026, reflecting a month-on-month decline of Rs. 31.07 and USD 0.20. Despite the monthly drop, the June average remained above the corresponding month last year. Compared with June 2025, the national average increased by Rs. 50.22 from Rs. 1,103.27, although the US dollar value declined by USD 0.23 year-on-year owing to exchange rate movements.
