SriLanka, Sept. 25 -- Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Kalutara District MP Ajith P. Perera stated in Parliament yesterday that it is regrettable that the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution was introduced in a manner that disrupts the country's established judicial traditions.

Speaking in the House yesterday (24) while participating in the debate on the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution and the Judicature (Amendment) Bills, he said that despite the incumbent Government coming into power promising to introduce a new Constitution, that it has not taken place up to now.
