Japanese Bon Odori Festival holds in SL strengthening ties between two countries
Sri Lanka, July 16 -- The Bon Odori Festival 2026 was held at the National Youth Services Council (NYSC) premises in Maharagama on Saturday (11), bringing together thousands of visitors to experience Japanese culture, tradition, music, dance and cuisine in a vibrant atmosphere.
Youth Affairs Deputy Minister Dinidu Saman Hennayake, Charges d'Affaires ad interim of Japan Kamoshida Naoaki, Maharagama Urban Council Chairman Saman Samarakoon, NYSC Chairman Supun Wijerathna and Japanese Solidarity Association (JSA) President Otsuki Takayuki were among the participants at the festival.
