Sri Lanka, July 8 -- The Inland Revenue Department (IRD) has announced that its e-service platform is now open for the electronic submission of income tax returns for the 2025/2026 Year of Assessment, urging taxpayers to file their returns before the November 30, 2026 deadline.
In a public awareness notice, the IRD said the online platform is available for the submission of Corporate Income Tax (CIT) Returns, Partnership Income Tax (PIT) Returns, and Individual Income Tax (IIT) Returns, including the IIT Simplified Return.
