Sri Lanka, July 16 -- Fort Magistrate Pasan Amerasena yesterday (15) ordered to issue an open warrant in English to Interpol for the arrest of the wife of former SriLankan Airlines Chief Executive Officer, Kapila Chandrasena, over alleged corruption and fraud of approximately US$ 2 million involving the re-fleeting of new wide-bodied aircraft for SriLankan Airlines.

The Magistrate issued this order after considering a request made by the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) through a progress report submitted to the Court.
