Sri Lanka, June 27 -- Public Security Minister Ananda Wijepala told Parliament yesterday that Sri Lanka is widening its global manhunt, having secured 232 Interpol Red Notices for fugitives hiding in many countries and Authorities are actively working to track down and repatriate these suspects involved in organised crime, large-scale drug trafficking, and murders. The Minister said that 96 of them are suspected organised criminals, of whom 37 have so far been identified, and that necessary steps are being taken to arrest and extradite them to Sri Lanka.
