Police Media stated that this initiative, which has been launched with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake in attendance recently, will commence from September 10 as part of the programmes marking the 160th anniversary celebrations of the Sri Lanka Police.
Until a dedicated short-code number is introduced, users can access the service by making a WhatsApp audio call to 011-2809980. A link will then be sent to the caller to join a video meeting and communicate their complaint.
