Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- Two individuals who were traveling to visit their brother in prison were arrested with heroin on August 4, Anguruwatota Police said.

According to Police their brother is currently held at the Kalutara Prison on drugs charges and they were traveling on a motorcycle to visit him.

Police officers on daily duty along the Millaniya-Batagoda road who were conducting checks at a roadblock, found approximately 12,400 milligrams of heroin concealed inside a polythene packet containing chili paste which was inside two food packets.

The narcotics were uncovered when the suspects, who are from the Horana area, stopped their motorcycle at a distance from the roadblock and acted suspiciously, prompting officers to inspect them....
