Sri Lanka, April 28 -- The rescheduled 19th Sujata Jayawardena Memorial Oration will take place on Saturday, May 9 at the BMICH. The Oration will be delivered by the 52nd Chief Justice of India, Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, on the topic "In a True Democracy, is Parliament Supreme?"
The Annual Sujata Jayawardena Memorial Oration is hosted by the University of Colombo for the 19th consecutive year by the Alumni Association of the University of Colombo in memory of its illustrious past President, the late Sujata Jayawardena, who rendered immense service to the University of Colombo.
