Sri Lanka, March 10 -- The Mahapola Trust Fund yesterday said that the Mahapola Scholarship allowance for January, increased by the Government from Rs. 7,500 to Rs. 10,000, will be credited to students' accounts today.
The monthly Mahapola Scholarship allowance has been increased from Rs. 7,500 to Rs. 10,000 with effect from January 2026 by President Anura Kumara Dissanayake through the 2026 Budget.
